December 2023

December was a busy month again, three clay shooting mornings with Mike, the first session was wet and windy making the clays tricky. MHSS was hosting a corporate day so the cafe had no home-made sausage rolls, a bacon bap was a very acceptable second! The following week Mike had a lesson with Scott Barnett and the third session, well scores are improving very slightly. Also met up with friends Bob and Helen, could be meeting up for a shoot in the future.

The first vouchers were sold on the new voucher website so this in encouraging news for the range. More vouchers have been booked in from the existing gift voucher sites.

I have joined Linktree again, this time unitising the QR Codes for more range advertising.

My shotgun had a long overdue clean, that reminds me my youngest daughter’s Revo Youth 20 Bore needs a quick clean as she came along for twenty-five clays during the Christmas break. Perhaps, she will shoot more regularly now; she was impressed with the sausage rolls on offer!

I attended the North Staffordshire Hunt Boxing Day meet at Woore, Cheshire, a pleasant few hours had by all.

Started work on the range for next year, plenty of shovelling and brushing up, admittedly it will need doing again before reopening but at least it keeps on top of the job.

Thanking you for your support in 2023 and wishing you the very best for 2024.
